Feature Settings

Feature settings control which parts of TT Time Tracker are available to your workspace. Toggle them in Admin → Settings.

Available features

Projects

Default: enabled

When on, workers can select a project when logging a time entry or uploading an invoice. The projects list appears in the admin sidebar.

When off, the project field is hidden everywhere and the Projects admin section is not accessible. The zones, tasks, and invoices features are also automatically disabled.


Vehicles

Default: enabled

When on, vehicles can be registered and assigned to users. Workers see a vehicle field when uploading certain invoice types.

When off, the Vehicles admin section is hidden and no vehicle fields appear in forms.


Zones

Default: disabled | Requires: Projects

When on, projects have a numeric zone field that can be used for geographic or site-based grouping. Zones appear as a filter in the entry list.


Tasks

Default: disabled | Requires: Projects

When on, workers select a task from the project's task list when logging time. Task lists must be assigned to projects in Admin → Projects.


Invoices

Default: disabled | Requires: Projects

When on, workers can upload invoice photos and documents. The Invoices section appears in both the worker and admin navigation.


Hours Overview

Default: enabled

When on, workers have access to a dashboard view (/dashboard) showing a summary of their logged hours by week or month.


Email Sync

Default: enabled

When on, admins can configure IMAP mailboxes in Admin → Syncs to automatically import invoices sent by email.


Punch Clock

Default: disabled

When on, a punch clock widget appears on the worker's home screen. Workers tap Start to begin a time entry and Stop to end it — the entry is created automatically with the exact timestamps.


Approval Workflow

Default: enabled

When on, time entries submitted by workers require explicit admin approval before being considered final. Pending entries appear on the admin dashboard.

When off, all entries are automatically approved on submission. This removes the approval step entirely and is suitable for workspaces where the admin trusts workers to log time accurately.
